See what I got for Christmas: Thank you Pammy, Thank you Marty

I would never have imagined my year could end this way. So much love, so much peace, so much joy, oh so Amazing Grace how sweet the sound.

Pammy Pammy sent stuffs not only for the boys but I got 3 good books.

Her latest poetry book, her art collection and an invaluable poetry handbook an amateur like myself needs.

Martin Baker who coauthored the memoir High Tide Low Tide I was humbled to read and review, also sent me a hard copy for my book shelf.

What else could I ask for this year? A wonderful on and offline family, my parents our greatly improved and cherished relationship, the growing bond and love with my sons and true friends, oh am so grateful and above all, especially for my Guardian Angel.

Merry Merry seaaon to you all gentle readers and followers

Marie Angele Abanga (simplified to Marie Abanga) aka MAG likes to describe herself as a “Jacqueline of several trades”. She is an everyday woman and mother with a zigzag profile. Let’s give it a try! She is an Activist, an Author, a Coach, a Consultant, a Feminist, a Lawyer, a Lecturer, a Prince 2 Project Manager, a Psychotherapist, a Philanthropist, a minister of the Word of God and...! She just loves to sum it up by saying she is a person of passions and a tale of talents. Her life’s journey has filled over 6 books already and her three musketeers keep her busy at home. MAG is also the founder and CEO of the association Hope for the Abused and Battered, and the Country Director of the Gabriel Bebonbechem Foundation for Epilepsy & Mental wellbeing. The plethora of life's experiences and shenanigans she has lived through and learned from in near 4 decades of existence, have equipped her with such an arsenal to coach, train and motivate just any and everyone. She is so charismatic, dynamic and full of life, going by her designed mantra of 3Ds: Determination; Discipline and Dedication. These sum her+her quest to be the best version of herself and impact others perfectly. She attributes all her wealth of knowledge to her conscientious attendance of both informal and formal school.

    1. Doc, thanks for stopping by even in the midst of such frenetics lol. Christmas was spent with the big family and I survived, but new year is planned to spent in all serenity in my own serene space. Wishing you all the best

    1. I may start a workshop on how to help a friend living with a mental illness inspired and drawing largely from your book. Will advice my participants to get copies online. We will see how it goes

      1. Would be interested to discuss this with you, Marie, if you decide to go with it. It sounds great but would need to apply for copyright from our publisher if you were going to use the contents, I think (you know the legal side way better than I do!) Would be very happy to present it to our publisher if that was the case. No issue of course if you were using it in the way of a reading group, I am sure, only if you were wanting to reproduce the contents.

      2. Dear Marty, thanks for the reply. Sure we’ll have to discuss this if I wanted to obtain the right of reproduction. Even if to be used in a reading group, it is great to let the author know and why not Skype them in someday to thrill the class out. I mentioned it here because I am so excited about that thought and can never tell who could be inspired. I of course know about IP law, I lecture that even at the university. I must conclude by sincerely appreciating you for being you. I wish I could come to the UK and have a brownie/muffin and frappé with you at your favourite coffee shop, and have a walk down the quay. Such make my moments. For now, maybe I just keep looking westwards lol
