Go MARIE it’s your birthday…

MAG (Marie – that’s me lol) turned 41 and had several Musings to share

Go MAGnectic it’s your birthday: Life it was said began at 40; so as I majestically climb the first staircase on the 4th floor, I should tell how great the life has been so far… hmmmmmm so much livelovelaughlearn, am ready for more o – God thank You

In 2013(My year of new beginings), my birthday was barely 10 days after I arrived Belgium and I was still dreading how I was going to survive or escape that place. I hadn’t started blogging too and was yet to meet my super super hero in March. The birthday was spent with my Angelique and her small family of 2 in a village called Zotegem.

In 2014 (My year of Faith), a year after I got to Belgium and was getting to feel more stable and real holistic love, I had been so emotional on my birthday and recorded a video which can be found on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPQM8kM0oiA

When I turned 36 in 2015 (My year of redemption), I wrote a blog article you could read following this link: https://marieabanga.wordpress.com/2015/01/18/36-course-in-36-years/

2016 (My year of Love) was spent starting to love myself so so much, I went to Kribi (a seaside resort in my country) for a weekend with the pgymees, and spent the birthday itself talking about love for self on a TV program. It was a low key year, I tried to love another but that wasn’t mutual and it hurt but I let go and went for a turning point 3 days spiritual retreat.

2017 (my year of gratitude) was an amazing year and my birthday was spent just being grateful with my boys. I wrote a blog reviewing some turning point stations of my life and other stuffs like previous birthdays too lol: https://marieabanga.wordpress.com/2017/01/18/its-my-birthday-reviewing-some-of-the-down-the-road/

On my 39th birthday in 2018 (My year of progress), I had the following 9 soul wishes: https://marieabanga.wordpress.com/2018/01/18/my-top-9-wishes-on-my-39th-birthday-will-be/

With all the above, I think I have been an excellent student in informal school and deserve a medal. Were I to add 4 more lessons to the 36th I wrote down in 2015 they’d be:
1) Be Patient, this is a vip virtue you don’t want to miss out courting all over and over again;
2) Be YOU – all others are not worth competing nor comparing with. While at it, keep striving to be the BEST VERSION EVER;
3) Keep being a life long learner, that’s the most yielding and wisest thing to do;
4) Never forget your source. My God, My Father, My Alpha and Omega, Mighty God I bow before thee Imela

Here is the link to the journal of a 7 days spiritual journey I did last year to usher in my new age as guided by my spirit. Who knows who can be inspired, it’s free download o https://drive.google.com/open?id=1cfbMALPiq5lgXhRBWCIPpFfKliNUkF1C

2019 was my year of Grace. So much grace amazing, living, loving, learning and learning all the way to and fro.

2020 is my year of GLORY, I know who I am…

Author:

Marie Angele Abanga (simplified to Marie Abanga) aka MAG likes to describe herself as a “Jacqueline of several trades”. She is an everyday woman and mother with a zigzag profile. Let’s give it a try! She is an Activist, an Author, a Coach, a Consultant, a Feminist, a Lawyer, a Lecturer, a Prince 2 Project Manager, a Psychotherapist, a Philanthropist, a minister of the Word of God and...! She just loves to sum it up by saying she is a person of passions and a tale of talents. Her life’s journey has filled over 6 books already and her three musketeers keep her busy at home. MAG is also the founder and CEO of the association Hope for the Abused and Battered, and the Country Director of the Gabriel Bebonbechem Foundation for Epilepsy & Mental wellbeing. The plethora of life's experiences and shenanigans she has lived through and learned from in near 4 decades of existence, have equipped her with such an arsenal to coach, train and motivate just any and everyone. She is so charismatic, dynamic and full of life, going by her designed mantra of 3Ds: Determination; Discipline and Dedication. These sum her+her quest to be the best version of herself and impact others perfectly. She attributes all her wealth of knowledge to her conscientious attendance of both informal and formal school.
