I take part in a dance challenge with my sons to raise funds for H4AB

Mansa Musa Dance Challenge: A vote for team MAGnifique is a vote for Hope for the Abused and Battered

You don’t take part in a dance challenge at 41 unless you have reasons like I do (am no musician nor professional dancer o)

I have an organization and we need to raise funds by all means including dancing why not.

So, in addition to the above I dance to break stereotypes about what an African woman should do or not do at such an age; should wear or not wear too.

I am grateful my sons joined in willingly. The last is the king you see, the second is the King’s favourite guard, and the first was the camera man.

Mansa Musa just returned from a successful Hadj to Mecca and is in high spirits.

Like our clip, leave a comment of love and share so others do the same.

And please do not forget to check out the full song on their YouTube Channel @NPro Street Record Label, with gratitude to its founder Akeem Williams De Puzo

Movie Review: WOMAN by Goretti

Wow Happy New Year Blogsphere,

I almost thought I had given up blogging on wordpress lol.

But, when one of your heroines produces a movie with the single word WOMAN, you stay up at night and watch, and you watch it again in the office, actually binge watch on your both gadgets lol.

So, Goretti who I described a few years ago as shooting for the moon, released her epic movie WOMAN onto the world wide web.

Let me just share the description on the channel, while encouraging or even plead with you all to watch, share and why not leave a review too so it helps dem in their analysis and preparation for part 2 right?

Meet Angoh, Manga and Rachel, the three it took to tango. Angoh is the unsuspecting wife who gets blindsided by her sneaky husband. Manga is the husband, who likes to eat his cake and have it too. Rachel is the bitch we all like to hate, the home-wrecker, and the one who ‘stole’ someone’s husband or did she?
‘Woman’ poses the question that many of us refuse to consider. Should the blame be equally shared by all three or none?
Is this just another lame case of the very brain-washed rhetoric ‘He’s just a man, they are weak and prone to mistakes’ or should there be a renewed pride and dignity demanded by women to reject that kind of excuse?
Truth is, there is a different breed of women emerging from behind the shadows, they are called ‘Woman’ they raise their head in self-love and only lower their heads to admire the path upon which they walk.

An exceptional week in Accra Ghana does so much to me

Hello world,

Wow wow wow. I am currently on my way back to my country Cameroon after spending a week (5 full days lol) in Accra Ghana. Accra is a big hustle and bubble commercial city in Ghana, and seriously could be a mini version of Baltimore MD hahahaha.

So, I was there officially for a 3 day orientation into the university of Lancaster as a Commonwealth Scholar, doing an MSc in something lol

Well, y’all should know by now am an #areagirl and when I globe trotte, I make the most of my trotting hahahaha.

I tried my best in Accra, indeed the same minute I landed I followed my host straight from the airport to town for some errands they had. We looked up my stuffs in the booth as I had insisted – why be dropped off at any home?

I generally don’t love living in ‘high rise’ areas like where my school was, nor in homes which feel more like prisons hahahahaha. I am freedom and love, and wish to go wherever and whenever – well I kept remembering what I was officially here for too o.

Another highlight of my trip was FOOD. I was advised to make my trip an ‘operation eat all you can’ because I had lot so much weight, and my cousin hosting me said she was putting me on a ‘1day/1kg’ diet. Both at home and school, AWWWWWWW Food Food Folly lol

I did make a lot of new friends, classmates and some blogger sister from World Pulse. We were so happy.

And yes, I had so much fun gallivanting an regaining my groove to be made up, swavy, sexy and good to go feeling funky hahahaha

You know, as in YOLO – You Only Live Once, I am doing the 4 Ls wherever I am. I live, I love, I laugh and I learn.

I am so grateful for this opportunity, and for all the Angels on my path during the trip. I return home filled from all angles you name them, and yes I was a good student after all hahahahaha
